Empowering Communities Through Food Systems
We transform lives by supporting rural farmers and women foodpreneurs — building a stronger, inclusive food economy for all

Empowering Rural Farmers and Women Foodpreneurs Across Nigeria

Niyi Ogungbade Foundation is dedicated to strengthening Nigeria’s food system by supporting rural farmers in food production and empowering women-owned micro food businesses in urban areas. Through sustainable financing, cooperative structures, and climate-smart innovations, we drive food security and economic transformation.

Our Dual Focus

We’re building real change — from farms to city streets.

Food Production

We empower rural farmers through access to developmental financing, cooperative support (GroupFarma), and modern agricultural practices that improve productivity, increase income, and promote food security.

Food Distribution

We strengthen urban food systems by supporting women-led food businesses through our Foodpreneur Empowerment Program, which provides access to affordable raw materials, business training, food safety certification, and microfinance opportunities.

Why This Matters

Millions of Nigerians depend on smallholder farmers and women food vendors for daily sustenance. Yet, both groups face systemic challenges including limited access to finance, lack of infrastructure, poor market access, and exposure to climate risks. The Niyi Ogungbade Foundation bridges these gaps with inclusive, sustainable, and community-driven solutions.
